What role do men play in care work and how does the situation in Austria compare with other European countries? What adjustments need to be made in companies in order to achieve equality and diversity? And what demands should be made of politicians? The European study Men in Care (2019-2022) is dedicated to these questions. The results of these company analyses will be presented at the event and discussed with representatives from companies, academia and consultancy.
The project and the conference are supported by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation as well as the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Federation of Austrian Industries, the Styrian Trade Union Federation and the Styrian Chamber of Labour.
The event is being organised by the Institute for Men's and Gender Studies (VMG) in cooperation with ABZ*AUSTRIA and the Dachverband Männerarbeit Österreich (DMÖ).
