At an exchange of experts from 22 to 24 March in Vienna, the concepts, services and methods for working with men and boys as victims of violence were discussed together with colleagues from the Federal Centre for the Protection and Coordination of Men against Violence.
The Federal Specialist and Coordination Centre for the Protection of Men from Violence (BFKM) is tasked with setting up shelters and support services for men and boys who are victims of domestic violence throughout Germany. The visitors were particularly interested in the working methods of MEN VIA, the men's counselling service in Vienna and the DMÖ.
