DMÖ board member Philipp Leeb took part in the conference panel in his role as spokesperson for child and youth work and discussed with psychiatrist Patrick Frottier, educational scientist Josef Christian Aigner, social worker Katharina Lhotta and men's counsellor Martin Christiandl. The invited colleague from Germany, Claudia Wallner, had to cancel due to illness. The discussion was moderated by a colleague from Mannsbilder.
In the discussion, we dealt with topics that we encounter in our daily work with boys. We focussed primarily on the changes in the lives of young people in recent years (pandemic, social media, war in Europe, economic crisis, mental health) and used examples from our fields of activity to explain what we have observed. There was lively participation from the audience and a number of questions were discussed.
